Cotton dress with yarn-dyed stripes, large ruffles extending from the armholes to the middle of the dress with rickrack edges, long sleeves with shirt cuffs and button placket at the back. The dress also features hand-pleated details on the breastplate, using a traditional technique that brings stripes together to create hearts (each breastplate represents 3.5 hours of work). The
handcrafted pleating makes each piece unique, resulting in slight variations from one piece to another.
